Assistant/Associate Professor

RUTGERS BUSINESS SCHOOL - NEWARK & NEW BRUNSWICK

The Finance and Economics Department of the Rutgers Business School at Newark and New Brunswick, Rutgers University, is seeking a full-time tenure track faculty member at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor, subject to funding availability.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

We will only consider an applicant that already has a Ph.D. in finance or economics, and has either published or has a forthcoming article in one of the top tier academic journals of finance and/or economics in the past three years. Applicants must have teaching and research interests in corporate finance, empirical asset pricing and/or derivative securities. The candidate must also be interested in working with doctoral students.

Responsibilities:

Candidates must be dedicated to providing quality instruction and undertake independent scholarly activity appropriate for advancement within Rutgers University. Responsibilities also include Department and University service with a willingness to take on administrative responsibility.

The Finance and Economics Department has 40 full- time faculty members. The Rutgers Business School offers BS, MBA, Masters of Quantitative Finance, Masters in Financial Analysis and Ph.D. programs that include finance and applied economics concentrations.
